John Hopkin University recruiting Learning Platform Consultant, Abuja, Nigeria

 Overview

In partnership with FMoH, USAID MCGL QoC initiated the development of a QoC learning platform linked to the Federal Ministry of Health (FMoH) website to be a one-stop shop for RMNCAEH+N QoC learning materials for all stakeholders. To inform the design of the QoC learning platform, MCGL developed a report summarizing the findings of the survey to explore the needs and priorities of future users of the QoC learning platform and supported the formation of a design committee to gather and guide collation of content for the learning platform from various RMNCAEH+N QoC thematic areas in the Ministry.

Purpose of Assignment

The Learning Consultant is expected to work with the MCGL QoC team and the software vendor to finalize the pending activities on the learning FY24 workplan and support the project transition and close-out.

Responsibilities

  •  Support FMoH and MCGL team to train identified FMoH desk officers, stakeholders, and technical team on the use of the National QoC Learning Platform .
  •  Support FMoH and MCGL team to conduct virtual training for the State officers to create aware and utilization on the National QoC Learning Platform.
  •  Support FMoH and MCGL team to conduct virtual learning session with community of practice and learning site to promote peer-to-peer learning and use of the learning platform.
  •  Work with software vendor to upload QoC relevant resources and update the National QoC Learning Platform with relevant project documents .
  •  Support the learning and iteration of the learning platform around utilization, content, design and other relevant resources.

Required Qualifications

  •  First Degree in Phycology, Business Management, Sociology etc)
  •  Master's degree Masters of Art (MA) Communication and Language Arts (Preferably not less than 8 years' experience)
  •  PHD will be an added advantage and/or professional certification in related field is an added advantage,
  •  At least 12 years working experience in Knowledge Management eSsP1no B2M1gg
  •  Experience in Communications / Knowledge Management with local and international organizations of at least 6 years

:

  •  Good knowledge of MS Office packages etc.
  •  Excellent interpersonal skills
  •  Strong organizational and time management skills,
  •  Team-player but also able to work independently
  •  Thinks in a strategic manner and sees the bigger picture at all times, which contributes to the establishing of achievable objectives.
  •  Develops an innovative and effective solution to complex problems
  •  Good conflict resolution skills,Compassionate, self-motivated, enthusiastic, energetic
  •  Advanced level of spoken and written English.
