British American Tobacco is seeking a motivated and driven individual to join our team as a part-time Remote Accountant in Lagos, NG. This entry-level position requires at least 1 year of experience in accounting. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting.

Responsibilities:
- Manage financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with financial regulations
- Provide support for audits and tax filings
- Utilize accounting software to maintain accurate financial records

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 1+ years of experience in accounting
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Motivated and driven personality traits
- Strong negotiation and leadership skills
