 British American Tobacco is seeking a dedicated and adaptable Chat Support Officer to join our team in Port Harcourt, NG. As a part-time Associate Level position, the Chat Support Officer will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service through online chat support.


Responsibilities:
1. Respond to customer inquiries and issues promptly and professionally through online chat.
2. Provide accurate information about products, services, and promotions to customers.
3. Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate complex problems to the appropriate team member.
4. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring all queries are resolved in a timely manner.
5. Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to provide support for promotional campaigns.
6. Document customer interactions and feedback for analysis and continual improvement.
7. Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends to better serve customers.

Requirements:
1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service or a related field.
3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
4. Strong adaptability and presentation skills.
5. Ability to work independently and under pressure.
6. Proficiency in using online chat platforms and customer service software.
7. Must be dedicated to providing outstanding customer service.
