British American Tobacco is seeking a Support Officer to join our team in Abuja, NG. This is a part-time position at the Associate Level, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role. The Support Officer will work remotely and must possess the personality traits of being resourceful and independent, as well as demonstrate soft skills such as cooperation and teamwork.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide administrative support to the team, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence.
2. Assist with project coordination and tracking progress towards goals.
3. Conduct research and compile data for reports and presentations.
4. Communicate effectively with team members and external stakeholders.
5. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
6. Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team objectives and deliver high-quality results.
7. Adapt to changing priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
8. Take ownership of tasks and demonstrate initiative in problem-solving.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
2. Proven experience in a support role, preferably in a remote work setting.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications.
4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
5. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
6. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
7. Knowledge of project management principles is a plus.
