Job Title: Fleet Officer Maintenance

Location: Sagamu, Ogun
Employment Type:  Full-time

Description

  • We are looking to hire an experienced Fleet Officer who will take responsiblity of maintaining, documenting and tracking our Vehicles.
  • You will be a strategic thinker with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • You will have strong designing experience, an analytical mind and outstanding presentation skills.
  • You will be highly analytical, a self-starter, results-oriented and able to thrive in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
What you will do:

  • Document Assessment records for all vehicles brought into the MAX workshops for maintenance
  • Ensure that all Vehicles scheduled for maintenance are checked into the premises and on VAMS
  • Maintain detailed records of vehicle maintenance and servicing
  • Work with the vehicle maintenance manager to improve on checklists and maintenance routines
  • Co-ordinate with Authorized Service Workshops in your jurisdiction to ensure that service records are entered into VAMS
  • Ensure periodical visits to Authorized Service Workshops to confirm that maintenance is carried out according to MAX standards and Checklists.
  • Supervise the technicians and ensure they carry out their job functions satisfactorily
  • Create and fill out job cards for any vehicle that is brought for preventive maintenance to any location

Requirements

  • Minimum of OND in any Engineering discipline.
  • Mechanical Engineering is preferred
  • 2 Years cognate experience as a vehicle technician or 2 years experience in fleet management
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills
  • Excellent understanding of Inventory Control principles and practices.
  • Proficient in MS Office/Google Workspace.
  • Good understanding of fleet management.
  • Critical and Analytical thinking.
  • Accuracy and Attention to detail.
  • Confidentiality and Thoroughness.
