Working closely with a Global Shipping Client in Nigeria, Faststream are searching for an experienced Finance Manager to join the business. In a highly strategic move to continue great business success, our Client wish to hire an experienced and technically strong candidate to play a leading role in financial operations. 

As a Finance Manager you will oversee the group's accounting / financial functions while reporting directly into the Group CFO. You will be supported by financial accountants and analysts. 

In the role you will ensure that the Group management and statutory accounts are prepared correctly and on a timely basis, you will also review compliance for the group accounting and reporting policies. Working closely with the regional MD you will perform financial analysis for business performance. Strong technical accounting knowledge will be key to providing guidance and support to your team and help lead the budgeting/forecasting process. 

Candidates for this role will Accounting qualified with previous experience in a similar position. ('Expat' experience would be highly beneficial.) To be considered for this senior role you will have experience working within a global organisation or multinational. Atleast a basic knowledge of the maritime or shipping industry would be considered beneficial.
