We are an oil and gas Service company based in Port Harcourt is looking for a qualified Business Development Manager. Candidates should be able to demonstrate the following as minimum qualities and experience
Job Details:
  • Minimum 4 years of previous experience in a BDM or project management role within the Oil and Gas service company
  • A proven ability to plan, develop and execute business development strategies and NIPEX Tender writing and submissions
  • Spearheading and executing a marketing plan, in conjunction with management, in accordance with the company’s objective, including sales, advertising, PR, Newsletters, technical articles, etc
  • Identify market opportunities and be able to take advantage of such opportunities
  • Developing and implementing strategies aimed at ensuring and facilitating business growth through aggressive corporate sales
  • Taking the lead role in tenders and proposals co-ordination thus managing the Proposal Team in the preparation of competitive tenders/bids and proposals
  • Prepare MOU/JV agreements between company and technical partners or clients
  • Negotiating pricing, terms and conditions of contracts with clients and / or vendors
  • Experience in risk analysis with a good understanding of contract law
  • Take the lead role in developing and updating all company policies and company profile, organizational charts, flowcharts, presentations, progress reports and any other company and contract documentation as required
  • Co-ordination of all internal and external interface required in the preparation of bids and proposals with the aim of ensuring consistency with the tender requirementshttps://mobile.jobberman.com/job/550140/business-development-manager-in
  • Prepare a comprehensive list of contact persons in Major E & P Companies, Government Regulators (NIPEX, NAPIMS, DPR, NCDMB), Major EPC Contractors etc based on most recent organization structures of these companies.
  • Provide a weekly/monthly sales report to Management.

Requirements:
  • Minimum education qualification BSc in Management
  • A degree in mechanical engineering will be an added advantage.
