We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Position: Lead Process Engineer

Description 

Lead the process team in the performance of process engineering studies and provision of process engineering support to the operating sites 

Guarantee the technical standard of all process studies and deliverables prepared by team members 

Ensure that process design conforms to COMPANY rules and specifications as well as relevant international standards 

Ensure the transfer of skills and know how within the team 

Be the focal point of the process engineering discipline and ensure relevant communication and feedback to local and HQ entities 

Ensure that all key process engineering documentation e.g. PIDs and Safety logic diagrams etc. are up to date and accessible to the operating sites 

As an integral part of the overall JV Smart centre organization, ensure that the necessary process engineering support is provided to the operating sites 

Lead and conduct process studies to support and optimize production for Onshore/Offshore sites. 

Review & Contribute to formulation of Operating Philosophy for new projects 

Review & Contribute to formulation of Operations Manual for new projects and review/update existing ones 

Provide process support for Onshore/Offshore commissioning, Start-up, Ramp-up & Shutdown 

Provide process assistance to Onshore/Offshore Operations for technical operating problems 

Perform core process design activities as the lead design engineer 

Lead de-bottlenecking studies and recommend solutions to optimize existing installations (Safety, Environment, Production, etc) 

Lead / Participate in and prepare safety &technical audits - PTR / HAZOP / HAZID etc 

Provide effective and timely response to technical queries 

Prepare Scope of Work and review/validate process studies by Contractor

Ensure the smooth functioning of the SMR(1) Process by providing the necessary coordination and followup of SMRs(1) from initiation to completion 

Continuously seek the improvement of the SMR(1) Process by performing regular audits, workshops, feedback sessions etc as required 

Participate in annual work program and budget preparation when required 

Maintain awareness of and ensure compliance with all relevant Statutory and COMPANY HSE standards 

Job Requirements 

B.Sc in Chemical Engineering or related engineering discipline (Please include class of degree) 

Minimum 10 years process engineering design experience in the oil/gas industry 

Must have at least 5 years experience in a lead process engineering role 

Should be proficient in the use of Process simulation software e.g. ProII, HYSYS, PIPENET etc 

Valid medical certificate acceptable to COMPANY 

Valid BOSIET/HUET (including CA-EBS) certificate for offshore missions.
