This opportunity is with a large group of companies based in Africa.
As a Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible in financial planning and strategy, managing profitability, vision, quality management, promoting process improvement, forecasting, corporate finance and developing budgets. Develops company’s prospects by studying economic trends and revenue opportunities, projecting acquisition and expansion prospects, identifying opportunities for improvement and cost reduction.
In addition, you will provide financial projections, accounting services, prepare growth plans, direct staff and perform effective risk management. Establish finance operational strategies by evaluating trends, critical measurements, determining production, productivity, quality, accumulate resources, resolve problems and implement change. Control and evaluate the company’s capital structure. Ensure appropriate cash flow is suitable in operations. Prepare reliable current and forecasting reports.
To be successful, you would ideally possess minimum of 12+ years of Accounting experience within the industry of Large Manufacturing company. An ideal candidate with possess a Chartered Accountant, Commerce or any related discipline. An advantage if having a professional accounting certification (ACCA / CPA / CMA).
