 Whip-smart service providers Limited is seeking to recruit a strategic thinker with a robust understanding of financial management, business development, and risk management to play a critical role in overseeing the financial operations of a financial advisory firm.

Position: Head of Finance

Location : Anthony

Salary: 200-300k

Requirements.

Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's overall business goals.

- Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and senior management team based on financial analysis and projections, cost identification and allocation, and revenue/expense analysis

. - Oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

- Lead the financial planning and analysis function, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Manage all aspects of the company’s financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, tax planning, and compliance.

- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records and maintain an effective system of internal controls

- Oversee the company’s insurance portfolio and liaise with insurers to manage coverage and claims.

- Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.

- Monitor industry trends and economic conditions to inform financial planning and risk management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or a related field.

- Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CFA required. Master’s degree is an added advantage.

- 7 years of progressive experience with at least 3 years in a related role.

- Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and financial regulations.

- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights.

- Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.

- Proficiency in financial software and tools, including ERP systems and advanced Excel skills for financial modelling and data analysis.

- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a record of building and leading high-performing teams.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
