Digitization Officer is needed at a Legal Tech firm in Abuja, Nigeria

 A legal-tech firm is seeking adhoc/contract staff to join its IT Operations team for ongoing digitization projects. A digitization project is simply the process of converting information from a physical format into a digital one, crucial for preserving, archiving, and making information more accessible and manageable.

 

A Digitization Officer plays a critical role in transitioning an organization's resources and processes from traditional paper formats to digital formats. He is typically responsible for handling the scanning, data entry, naming of scanned files, storage and backup, and quality of the resources.



Responsibilities:

* Implement a comprehensive digitization strategy while ensuring the project stays within its duration confines

* Oversee and manage the scanning processes of documents, records, and other materials

* Collaborate with project owners to ensure successful digitization of resources and processes

* Maintain accurate records and documentation of digitized materials

* Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations

* Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to digitization processes

* Train incoming team members on proper digitization techniques and procedures


Requirements/Qualifications

* At least an OND Degree 

* Strong technical proficiency in digital imaging technologies and document management systems,i.e. Scanning, photocopying etc. 

* Ability to multitask  

* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 

* Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively in a team environment. 

* Problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.

* Willing to resume immediately
