IBM, a leading supplier of Information Technology accessories in Nigeria, is  recruiting qualified and experienced staff for the following vacant position:
 
Job Title: Distribution Mnanager – CEWA 
Location: Lagos
 
Responsibilities
  • Distribution Manager is responsible for driving sustainable business growth according to annual local targets (revenue and profitability) by managing the relationship between IBM and 1-6 Distributors across Africa, as defined. 
  • To drive short and long term planning processes with all the distributors by doing gap analysis in the market, recruitment of new BP’s and growing existing BP’s, provide resources and coaching required to drive demand for IBM Volume products through the BP’s. 
  • Build capability and sales competence regarding stocking of the correct products per region and selling out of inventory with well thought out incentives and promotions, Establish technical and implementation capabilities within the smaller BP’s on the Volume or Run rate products from IBM.
  • Distribution Manager help focus and manage the Distributors to ensure profitable growth, with well managed credit processes to ensure sustainability and capturing of market share within Africa.
 
Qualifications/Experience
Required
  • Pre-University qualification
  • At least 5 years experience in Sales and Negotiation Skills
  • At least 5 years experience in Liasing with BP
  • English: Fluent
 
Preferred
  • At least 8 years experience in Sales and Negotiation Skills
  • At least 8 years experience in Liaising with BP
 
Additional information
Should be willing to travel.
