PROJECT ACCOUNTANT – ABUJA
Our client, a subsidiary of foreign owned construction company requires the services of a professional accountant of its operations in Nigeria. The candidate will report directly to the Managing Director.
KEY DUTIES/JOB DESCRIPTION
Preparation of monthly financial report and annual statutory financial statementsAssist in the preparation of company’s financial budgets and forecastEnsure accurate project costing and stock managementEnsure cost controls and report on project efficienciesMaintain strong internal controls and internal checksTo display a proactive approach to problem solvingAdvices on accounting and taxation issues (VAT, PAYE, Corporation Tax)Liaise with internal group departments to ensure complianceCost control.
