Job Description:**
British American Tobacco is seeking a proactive and motivated individual to join our team as a Customer Support Officer. This role is geared towards providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients while working from the comfort of your home. As a vital member of our team, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, addressing their needs and ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services.
• *Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Customer Interaction:**
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries via various communication channels, including email, chat, and social media.
- Provide accurate information and troubleshoot customer issues effectively, ensuring a positive experience.
2. **Issue Resolution:**
- Take ownership of customer complaints or issues, investigating and resolving concerns to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and engineering, to address complex customer problems.
3. **Documentation:**
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, and feedback in the company’s CRM system.
- Prepare reports summarizing customer interactions, issues, and resolutions to identify trends and recommend improvements.
4. **Product Knowledge:**
- Stay informed about product offerings, company policies, and industry trends to provide knowledgeable support to customers.
- Assist in training new team members on customer support procedures and best practices.
5. **Customer Feedback:**
- Gather customer feedback through surveys and interactions to help identify areas for improvement in products and services.
- Escalate recurring issues or trends to management for further analysis and action.
6. **Compliance:**
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulatory standards in all customer interactions.
- Uphold the company’s values and represent British American Tobacco positively at all times.
7. **Continuous Improvement:**
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance personal skills and contribute to team development.
- Contribute to the creation of FAQ documents and customer support resources to streamline processes.
• *Requirements:**
- **Education:** A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent; additional education in business, communication, or a related field is preferable.
- **Experience:** At least 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a remote environment or within the consumer goods sector.
