Responsibilities
Provide technical assistance to key stakeholders in the state ministry of health (SMOH) and local government area (LGA) in the design, implementation, and evaluation of the community component of the management of integrated HIV/AIDS, Sexual and Reproductive Health, TB, Malaria and other diseases control activities. S/he will also ensure that appropriate linkages of the community activities to the facility based activities are maintained. 
 
Strengthen community involvement and participation in community-based activities of HIV/AIDS, Sexual and Reproductive Health, TB, Malaria and other programs through engagement of the LGA health authorities, traditional and religious leaders, and other community gatekeepers.
 
Transfer appropriate skills to community health workers, community volunteers, traditional birth attendants (TBAs), People Living with HIV (PLWH) as well as those affected by other health conditions and families on strategic behavior change and communication (SBCC), prevention, Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC), care and support.
