Job Description
Our client, an international fleet management company launching into the Nigerian market has specialized in one niche area: delivering high standard tailor-made fleet solutions (Trucks) into some of the world’s most remote areas, in order to help keep their clients’ projects on track reliably, safely and cost effectively. The company is seeking to position itself for strong profit growth and tremendous patronage in the Nigerian market by strengthening the management team with the appointment of an experienced business executive as: Logistics Assistant
Reporting to the Operations Manager:
- You will be responsible for import logistics, ensuring that order confirmations and performa invoices from suppliers are consistent with purchase orders raised.
- You will be responsible for coordinating delivery schedules with suppliers, issue all documentation related to the shipment
- You will also coordinate documentation with clearing agents to ensure timely customs clearance
Job Requirements
- Degree -qualified in Business Administration or a related discipline
- A minimum of 5 years’ cognate experience in a similar role
- Sound knowledge and experience with the procedures and document requirements for import customs clearance and sea/air shipments.
This position is to be filled immediately.
